About it

An antiviral cream applied to the cold sore five times a day, about every four hours. Works best started at the first tingle.

Contains aciclovir 5% w/w.

Good to know before you buy

  • Only for cold sores on the lips and face: not for inside the mouth, the eyes or genital herpes.
  • Use for at least 4 days and up to 10 days; see a doctor if still present after 10 days.
  • People with a weakened immune system should see a doctor instead.
  • Do not use if allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir or propylene glycol.
