Accessibility Statement
WalkInClinics.uk, operated by Imaan Ltd, is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
1. Standards we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard expected of UK public-facing services and reflects our duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.
2. What we do to support accessibility
- Use clear, plain English and a consistent page structure.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Aim for sufficient colour contrast and resizable text.
- Use semantic headings and labelled form fields.
3. Known limitations
This site is in active development ahead of launch. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target standard. We are working to identify and fix accessibility issues as the site grows, and we welcome reports that help us prioritise.
4. Reporting a problem
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please let us know so we can put it right. You can reach us through our contact form. Tell us the page, what went wrong, and the device or assistive technology you were using, and we will respond as soon as we can.
5. Enforcement
If you are not happy with how we respond to your accessibility report, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), the body responsible for advising on the Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales.
