About it

Medicated chest rub applied to the chest, throat and back so the vapours are breathed in. Adults can also use it in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water as a steam inhalation.

Contains camphor 5% w/w, turpentine oil 5% w/w, levomenthol 2.75% w/w, eucalyptus oil 1.5% w/w.

Good to know before you buy

  • Not for children under 2; do not use as a steam inhalation for children under 12.
  • For external use only: do not swallow, and do not apply in or near the nostrils, eyes, mouth or face, or on broken skin.
  • Fire risk: keep away from naked flames and smoking; fabric with the ointment on it burns more easily.
  • Ask a pharmacist first if you have asthma or other airway disease; do not use on the chest while breastfeeding.
