About it

A proton pump inhibitor taken once a day to reduce stomach acid production. Intended as a course of up to 14 days.

Contains esomeprazole (as magnesium trihydrate) 20mg.

Good to know before you buy

  • Adults only; do not take for more than 14 days without seeing a doctor.
  • Do not combine with other PPIs or H2 blockers, or with nelfinavir or rilpivirine; check with a pharmacist if taking clopidogrel, warfarin or methotrexate.
  • See a doctor first if over 55 with new or changed symptoms, or with weight loss, vomiting blood, black stools or swallowing difficulty.
  • Not a long-term preventive treatment.
